Check back here often to find out what new things we are planning as we live into a post-pandemic life and church family!
The Year 2020
The year 2020 has been a challenging year for all persons world-wide. We at Gray Memorial spent the largest part of this year only having online services.
In a normal year, we have a spring event called the Big Give and in the Fall we have a pumpkin patch during the month of October with a fall festival held on the last weekend of the month with bounce house, pony rides, vendors, food, and fun for all!
Christmas events would normally include Christmas Eve services. WE have a family-oriented service at 7:00 pm with the singing of Christmas carols, prayer, and a candlelight singing of “Silent Night.”
We also have a candlelight service at 11:00 pm for those who want a quiet service to reflect on the real reason for the season and to have a time of peace in what usually is a very hectic time of year.
This year our Christmas Eve service was virtual. We had a complete traditional Christmas Eve service with the singing of carols, a reading of the birth story from Luke, and a candlelight service at the end! This service was posted on the church Facebook page.
